"F1 2016 by Patrick34 1.0 Service Fix"
Hello F1 friends.
I have created a "Service Fix" for the "F1 2016 by Patrick34 1.0" Mod.
With this "Service Fix" the physics, graphics and sounds are changed.
01/11/2016
Hello fellow colleagues
I had to rework the Service Fix from me again.
The fuel consumption was unfortunately still too high.
I have now corrected that again.
The physics has now been adapted for full race.
I changed the fuel consumption and the settings for the boost mapping.
The boost mapping can now be set from Stages 1 to 5.
It is now necessary to fill the 133 liters of fuel with a 100% race.
With these changes, fuel consumption must now be taken into account in the race, so that you do not lose out in the race with fuel loss.
The fuel consumption can now be regulated and monitored with the boost mapping in the race.
In order to adjust the boost mapping during the race, you should use buttons on the steering wheel or controller.
This makes a race even more interesting.
NOTE:
Just reinstall this version.
The data from the previous verions will be overwritten.
Download the new Version 0.6:
http://www.file-upload.net/download-12057329/F1_2016_by_Patrick34_1.0_Service_Fix_v0.6.rar.html
Here the change log:
1. Physics
The vehicle / the Chassis:
The front and rear wings are now adjustable to 45 Range.
The air resistance was slightly increased.
The Tires:
The physics of the tire has been completely rebuilt.
The dimensions of the tires are suited to the true F1 tires.
The radius and width are now real.
The rapid rise of the temperatures, while driving, has been reduced.
The grip level of the tires has been increased slightly.
The Grib, who is responsible for accelerating the tires, has been reduced.
The tires now turn faster if the accelerator pedal is too fast.
The Brakes:
Wear of the brakes was added.
The brake disc thickness is now adjustable from 2,6cm to 3,0cm up.
The Engine / the Gear:
The engine performance has been improved.
The lowest engine speed is now 11900 r.p.m.
Under the setup setting, the BOOST MAPPING can now be set to 1. until 5.
By increasing the BOOST MAPPING, the motor speed per step increases by 130 R.P.M
The fuel consumption has been slightly increased.
The differential setting has been improved.
The setting for the transmission ratio is now blocked.
Because in the real F1, it is not allowed to adjust the transmission
_________________________________________________________________________________________________
2. Graphics
The Cockpit View:
In the cockpit view the flicker and blurring of textures is eliminated.
And more distant objects appear now Completed.
The cockpit view has been adapted to the real F1.
The cockpit view is set at a particular setting.
It is no longer possible to put the cockpit view higher.
The seating position must be set to 100/100, to get the real view.
Here is a video of the real cockpit view of the F1 drivers.
Demonstrated by Nico Hülkenberg / Force India:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjkUUMZnTnU
The camera view of the safety car, when you sit in the car, was also adapted.
The seating position must also be set to 100/100, to get the real view.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________
3. Sounds
The safety car has now motors noise.
NOTE.
Since the fuel quantity and the round number with rFactor is very imprecise, I use a different HUD.
I use the "G.I.D. - Global InfoDisplay RFE full version 1.1.5" Hud.
This is more accurate with the display, with the calculation of the fuel quantity and the rounds.
Here is a picture as it is presented with me.
All HUDs are freely selectable and can be placed freely.

Which DXT setting should I use? If I use DXT9, the cars are very reflective like chrome in the menu showroom.

Hello "MSCAddict1"
This has nothing to do with my "Service Fix"
This sparkle in the showroom is also happening with me.
And this only happens if you had another mod active before.
If you have this high gloss, you only have to finish rFactor with the "F1 2016 by Patrick34 1.0" Mod again.
Then just restart rFactor.
Then this high gloss should not be seen anymore.

Hi man, might sound like a weird question, but my wheel is broken so I'm relegated to the keyboard judging by what you said you've changed from 0.3 to 0.4, I think it'll be hard for me to race on the keyboard. Basically... do you have a link to the 0.3 service fix?

This is not a problem I can fix,I think it's how rFactor shaders mecanics works,it load only one shader folder at launch so if you change mod in game,it will have the Shaders from the old mod and they aren't working with mine

Re: "F1 2016 by Patrick34 1.0 Service Fix"
Hello "danialrazzaq"
You can do it, too.
Just do not have to set the wings so high and set the Bosst mapping to 5.
Only then do you have no liability and the vehicle breaks out in the curves.
Because there is a difference to the real Mexico track.
The real distance is 2300 meters above sea level.
Then the air is thinner.
Thus the real vehicles can drive with high wings, but have no air resistance.
Because the air is so thin.
And that I can unfortunately not in rFactor so take over.
But I have already driven this route.
And I have driven a time of 1: 19,610.
Topspeed I have 342 km / h

Re: "F1 2016 by Patrick34 1.0 Service Fix"
Hello "danialrazzaq"
I have a question.
Did you understand what I wrote here in the forum
In real Formula 1, the vehicles in Mexico drive so fast, because the air resistance is much lower.
The air is much thinner there.
Because Mexico is 2300 meters above sea level.
Thus, the real Formula 1 cars can drive with high-set wings, have no big air resistance, but a good Grib.
Therefore, the speed is very high, which can be at 365 km / h or higher,
Because the air is very thin and the air resistance is hardly present.
If I change the physic for the distance "Mexico" to the 365 km / h, the vehicles on the other routes would be much too fast.
Then it could be that the vehicles in "Monza" for example have a top speed of 380 to 390 km / h.
And that would not be real.
And "Patrick23" can not change it either.
For he would have the same result.
The vehicles would simply be too fast, on the other tracks.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the air resistance of the "Mexico" track at rFactor.
That's why I can not and will not change the physic.
I have now created a setup for the track "Mexico".
So I have a top speed of 345 km / h and a time of 1: 18.694
And I also use the DRS and have the "Boost Mapping" to 5
I have a question.

Re: "F1 2016 by Patrick34 1.0 Service Fix"
Hello "danialrazzaq"
Yes, I know, in Baku Bottas has set the record.
It had top speed of 378 km / h.
But it has been Williams' vehicle.
And Williams is the only team where the vehicles have the lowest air resistance and are therefore also very fast.
All other teams have a top speed of 330 to 350 km / h.
Here for example "Nico Rosberg Onboard Pole Lap - F1 2016 Baku".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2pg_zlzQjI
He has a top speed of 348 km / h with Mercedes.
And Mercedes is already the top team in the F1 2016, with the fast vehicle.
Now I can not adjust the physics so that all vehicles drive 360 to 370 km / h.
This speed never creates the team "Sauber", "Manor" or "Haas"
Then a separate physics would have to be created for each team.
That then Williams has less air resistance, the other teams have higher air resistance. Create the engine power separately for each team, etc.
That would be a lot of work and then many drivers would certainly always take the best team to win.
Then one would certainly have only the teams "Mercedes", "Red Bull" and perhaps "Ferrari" on the server.
Hardly anyone would then take the weak teams.
I have now created the physics so that the vehicles create the average speed.
365 km / h is to be created with the physics.
It depends on the created setup.
It is unfortunately not possible to increase the topspeed.
Then the vehicles would be much too fast, on other routes.
For example, I have a top speed of 360 km / h in Baku.
So much faster than Nico Rosberg.
See the picture:
And now again to the information.
I will no longer make any changes to physics.

But who care if it's realistic or not. A person need to think about a speed of a car. And Bottas touched 372,54 km/h yesterday in Mexico. I want that speed and you can change it in the bar of the setup. So you can make it slower if you are driving a slow car. I want that speed please.Peter (GER) wrote:Hello "danialrazzaq"

He said he will no longer make any changes in the physics. And, I DO care about the realism in rFactor, that's WHY it was made, it's a SIMULATOR that simulates the reality, and if you want to have that "reality", you'd have to go for the real times, the real GAP and the real cars, not just for the speed, because, why would some driver to have 380 km/hs in México but also be 10 seconds faster than the real life? How would he train then? And I know about simulating, because I was in a F-E race and they had a simulator... Which had a base in rFactor. So, if you wanna get those 372,6 km/hr, then make by yourself, go, fuck the physics and be happy for your "real cars" that make a lap of 1'12 when, in the real life, a F1 car did 1'18. And, you're NOT a driver if you think that ALL the matters is the speed, because, how could you drive in Monaco, Macau, Pau, Singapore, Sepang, Shanghai, Melbourne, Baku, Montreal, etc?danialrazzaq wrote:But who care if it's realistic or not. If I have 1-1 in these tracks, for sure I'd end in some barrier(lol, that remembered me Scott, aka, IntoTheBarrier).

Re: "F1 2016 by Patrick34 1.0 Service Fix"
Patrick, two questions.
Now when I start rFactor in your mod appears the following message: "gMotor 2.Error - Error loading mesh file BODY_PRIVATETEST.GMT to memory", any idea?
And the second question is about haw DRS works in this mod? I ask it because in other mods when I press DRS I can see the rear wings working but with this mod I can't see anything, in rear wing nor even in Hud.
I've already check this in G.I.D. and in rFDynHud and no changes at all. I've also use rF_HighVoltage and nothing, but as i said before in other mods -at least- I can see wings opening.
Thanks in advance for your comments!
